7月27日に行いましたcomplex 5th anniversary
partyは、お陰様で、total 約400名の方々にお越
し頂きました。本当に皆様ありがとうございました。
色々とまた人と人が出逢うきっかけと、そして
思わぬところで、人と人が繋がっていた。という、
とても嬉しい日となりました。

#QC- 1 Quentin Cooper Square Diner

QUENTIN CRISP (Dec.25, 1908 - Nov.21, 1999)
イングランド出身。 作家、画家モデル、俳優。
幼年期からの女の子の様な振る舞いや、成人期にメイクアップ、女装姿で現れるな
どCRISPは早い時期から“女装するゲイ”であるという事を隠さなかった。
70年代に自伝小説 “The Naked Civil Servant”を出版してからはワンマンショーや
講師として活躍、またその自伝的暴露からゲイのアイコン的存在となる。彼のこうし
た振る舞いやトランセクシュアル的な要素は、むしろ芸術的追求心からきていたとも言
われる。81年アメリカに移住。New York、Lower Eastに住みマンハッタンの電話帳に
自ら番号を掲載し、夕食に招待してもらう事を前提に全ての一般人からの誘いを受け入
れた。こうした彼との奇妙なディナーデートは、ニューヨーカー達の間で“Best Show”
と言われた程だ。
スティングの“Englishman in New York”は彼がモデルと言われ、同ビデオクリップ
にも出演。92年　“Orlando”ではエリザベス１世を演じ、翌年には“Philadelphia”
に出演。

Is that the reason that individuality is lost and everything
looks like because a convenient box of computer has taken the
place of our brain, and getting on the fashion becomes a thing?

Or perhaps because the things created after having lots of
discussions of their details and finishing by a designer and
craftsman, who appreciate each other, have been replaced an
accurate machine?
Since corporation prioritizes the profit, it cuts down the time
of development and therefore it results an amateur came to be
able to copy craftsmanship. Is that the reason?
